QualiChem Metalworking Goes Dye Free in 2023

Metalworking Article

QualiChem has always subscribed to the principles of Product Stewardship, ensuring human and environmental safety in our research, development, and manufacturing processes. As such, we have made the decision to remove dyes in our metal removal fluids, effective January 1, 2023.

This change will not impact the performance of QualiChem metalworking fluids or our customer’s ordering process. Simply put, customers can expect the same great performance without the dyed color.

Dedication to Sustainability and Operational Excellence

While the dyes in some of our metal removal fluids (coolants and straight oils) provide a pleasant aesthetic, they do not enhance or sustain the performance of our products in any way. As such, the decision to remove the dye and continue our commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices was an easy one.

“QualiChem’s commitment to delivering high-performance products is rivaled only by our commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility,” says Tim Davis, President of QualiChem, Inc. “Eliminating the dyes from our manufacturing process removes the associated risk for our plant personnel and prevents potential solid waste pollution.”

QualiChem’s manufacturing processes adhere to ISO 9001 standards and strive to minimize human and environmental impact.
